Caveat Lector currently holds monthly salons at the Art Internationale Gallery in San Francisco, CA. Every third Thursday of the month we feature readings, films, music and other performances by editors and contributors, as well as local Bay Area artists, writers and musicians. If you are interested in performing at a Caveat Lector event, email the editors at editors@caveat-lector.org.

Our featured performer is actress, playwright and director Angelina Llongueras Altimis, who has appeared in films by Pedro Almodovar, Nick Hamm and Fernando Trueba. Trained at the University of Barcelona, Angelina is also an interpreter, a translator, a freelance journalist and a voice-over artist. At the salon she will be performing her riveting one-person version of Percy Bysshe Shelley´s “The Masque of Anarchy,” which she developed under the direction of Jiwon Chung for Occupy SF’s 1st anniversary. The salon will begin at 7:00 p.m. with snacks and refreshments, followed by Angelina’s performance at 8:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend, with a requested $10 donation for the performer.
