A.D. Winans' poetry and prose have appeared in numerous literary magazine and anthologies, including Poetry Now, City Lights Journal, Poetry Australia, and The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry. In 2006 he was awarded a PEN Josephine Miles award for literary excellence. His collection The Other Side of Broadway: Selected Poems 1965-2005 was published in 2007.
