Nicki Chen
Nicki Chen has been published in SORTES Magazine, Tidepools Magazine, Confrontation Magazine, and City Primeval. She won a bronze medal in Best Regional Fiction in the Independent Publisher Book Awards (2021) for her novel When in Vanuatu and was a finalist in the Indie Excellence Book Awards for Tiger Tail Soup, a novel of China at War. Nicki received an MFA in Creative Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and a BA in Elementary Education from Seattle University. For twenty years she lived in Asia and the South Pacific with her husband and their three daughters.
